A must for all serious bellydancers! The ability to recognize and understand rhythms creates a more talented and authentic dancer.

The next drumming class will start in May 2007.
Students must bring their own hand drum, preferably a dumbek. Students are also encouraged to bring a paper and pen to make notes regarding technique and rhythms.

An excellent introduction to the world of Egyptian drumming. This course includes basic drum and music theory, drumming technique and basic Egyptian rhythms. Focus is to recognize and play bellydance rhythms.

Taking skills learned in the beginner level, students build on their technique. Common fills, accents and riffs are taught and are used to create more intricate rhythms.
